Okay, so I'm nursing two. We all know that. Yesterday I logged 19 hours of sucking time, plus a half hour of pumping. I nurse round the clock, non-stop, often two at once.

So now here, at 6 1/2 weeks postpartum, comes stinking AF.

WTH?

Don't I get some reward for my efforts?

Did you go on any bc? That can make you period come back. I have also known some women who got a little period and then went like a year without one. So heres to hoping that that happens for you

That does stink. I had a friend who was nursing 3 and got her cycle back right away (but she wasn't ovulating). She was more than annoyed. So you might have your cycle but not ovulate.

OMG!

With my first I got what seemed like AF around 8 weeks, but then it went away and didn't come back until 14 months.

I hope this will be true for you!

Taking Charge of Your Fertility doesn't consider anything before 56 days postpartum to be the return of a cycle. Is this before that? I hope so!

This must be SO frustrating for you though. It's a huge perk to not have a period or bleeding for a while!

Ooh, that IS cruel! Not a very funny joke, Mother Nature! I hope it's just a fluke and doesn't come back for a long time...
