Just starting to chart...

I am so confused. I have only missed one temp (my birth father called me for the first time ever and woke me yesterday).

But I have been checking my cervix and fluid...

I check internally and externally.

But my fluid has been crazy. It has been a LOT of really thick and white goo. No smell, no yeast infection symptoms otherwise. Is that normal? It looks different than the pics in TCOYF.

And my cervix for the last 3 days has been pushed hard to the left. Very odd. Am I a freak?

no! you are definitely NOT a freak!

thick white goo with no smell is probably "creamy". it can range from being sorta thin like elmer's glue to pasty like a flour/water mix. there can be just a tiny bit or a whole, whole lot of it. and it will probably be a little different every day of your cycle.

i tend to see the most "creamy" (for me it is a "thick white goo") a few days after O.

sometimes i see creamy mixed with little bits of EWCM a few days before my fertile period and often towards the end of my LP.

charting is definitely something you learn as you go. it will take several cycles before you feel in any way confident about your "findings".

Thank you! I was beginning to worry! I know my uterus is tipped back very far and so I am expecting some differences from the "norm", but it is SO good to hear I'm not a freak!

Thanks!
