Questions about hysteroscopy and hysterosalpingogram.

I’m having each of these tests on separate days. As I understand it, hysteroscopy involves filling my uterus with saline. hysterosalpingogram involves dye.
I’ve got a practical question. After these tests, am I going to be leaking fluid? I’m assuming if I am that the office would have a stash of pads, but I’m allergic to disposable pads so I need to use cloth. I’m bring some just incase. But I’m wondering if I am leaking fluid, will that fluid stain? The doctor asked if I was allergic to iodine so I’m assuming that is involved. Iodine stains like crazy. Just a couple of months ago I got rid of all my pads that I wouldn’t have cared about ruining. Now I just have nice WAHM made pads that I don’t want to damage, even if its just cosmetic.

So do I need to find some cloth pads that I don’t care about? Or is this a non-issue?

I did leak a little after mine, but it wasn't anything more than a light day of AF. I used the sposie they gae me, so I can't say if it stained or not but there wasn't a whole lot of leakage. You will probably be fine with a darker colored cloth.

I only had the HSG done, and I wore white pants that day. I did have a sanitary, but at the end of the day, it was dry as a bone. I would ask to lay on the table for a few minutees after. I would wear something dark..... got any black pants? Good luck with your tests!

I've both procedures and I would say it would be a non issue. Just sit for a minute after words.

I did leak out blue fluid on one pads worth. I think even the day after I had some minor leakage.

I've had the 1st, but I don't remember any leaking after what come out when they were done with the saline.
