pain in thighs?

I have recently developed an all new brand of pain. Its right where my thighs meet my crotch - and it is SUPER painful but only lasts a couple of seconds. If it lasted longer than that I would have to sit down but since its so quick I can just stop walking for a second. I can only describe it as a grinding kind of feeling.
I am thinking baby's head pressing down is causing it? What do you think?

Me too!! I feel like my hips will dislocate if I move to fast...it has been really painful rolling around in bed.

It's ligament pain. I had with my son starting at 20 weeks. At times I would literally fall to my knees with no warning it was so bad! I am 37 weeks now, and I started getting it at 36 weeks. I have to say, I was really dreading it at 20 weeks with this pregnancy...and have been pleasantly surprised to just barely be getting it now. It'll go away after the baby is born....there is no way to relieve it until then.

I've had this for ages now... it is super uncomfortable and bothers me the most when I'm in bed and trying to move around. My dr said it is just everything loosening up for delivery as well as the pressure of a big heavy uterus on all of the tendons and muscles down there. Sometimes it feels like I've been kicked in the crotch : ! Soon this discomfort will be replaced by a sweet little baby...
