I think I felt the baby's head

I was just checking my cervix in the shower. Who was it here that said they were their own favorite toy right now? I always think about that in the shower. Anyway, cervix is soft and right there, maybe a fingertip dialated but I felt something hard. And unless I started storing things in there and forgot, thats got to be a head right?

I tried to check mine but either it's too far back or my fingers are too short. Is there some contortion I can try to get to it?

Oh yes yes, I second this question. I can't reach my cervix at all but I would like to check it out. If I felt a head - omg I would LOVE that!

heh. that was me! i keep being sure and then not-sure that i feel the head up there, sort of through the wall of the cervix, not straight back. now i feel something very smooth and hard at the top of the cervix, though, as the inside opens a bit, and i can't figure out what that is! i have a midwife appointment tomorrow; i'll ask her.

I feel head too when I try to check for my cervix. Which is the coolest thing ever (until baby comes OUT, and then that will be the coolest ever).

I don't know if my cervix is way far back behind the baby's low head (mw yesterday said this is sometimes the case) or if I just don't know what to feel for.

Had dh feel the baby's head the other day, I think it freaks him out that baby's head is right there. I still think it's cool.

What is funny is that it isn't that far of a "trip" up there, but the "trip" down seems a whole lot farther. You know what I mean?

Sounds like a head You can also feel it through the top of the vaginal wall before the cervix. If you're feeling truly adventurous, you can slide your finger to the sides and get an idea how big the head is...which makes you rethink natural birth

When the head starts engaging, you can barely miss it, even through tissue.

Some cervixes stay back until you're in labor (posterior) so you may not be able to truly reach your cervix until then. Particularly if you're trying to find it around a huge baby in the way.

I love when they feel you touching their head, so they start twisting it from side to side. I can't tell if they're annoyed or looking for rubs.
