EPO for PPD?

HAs anyone used EPO to treat PPD, whether in conjunction with other treatments or by itself? I'm not sure yet if what I'm experiencing is PPD, I am having a rough time emotionally coping now at 3 weeks postpartum. Thanks!

All essential fatty acids are good for mood issues. Here is what I do to help with my depression, which is mostly brought on by my B12 deficiency (which is a cause of PPD):

Fish oil at night (it makes me burp, yucky burps, dose is one with each meal)
Flax seed oil with meals
BComplex
B12 sublingual (methylcobalomin)
Vitamin D
Zinc
Multivite with B12
Vitamin C is supposed to help too but I can't take it. I get terrible mouth ulcers

A very good diet with lots of fruits and veggies and whole grains is important as is LOTS of water, especially if you are nursing.

This works for me. Talk with your HCP. PPD is not always managable without professional help.
