Some Progress!

I had my 38-week app't yesterday. I am dilated 2 cm, cervix is soft and IK'm having lots of contractions (although not yet regular). I'm excited because this is the first time my body has dilated on its own -- yay for my body!

That is good news! Sounds like things are definitely getting started and you are getting some practice in for the big event!

yay! happy dialating ! did your labor have to be augmented with your previous pgs?

Yahoo! I'm 2w 2d from my c-sec date, and today the OB checked and I am closed up tighter than a drum. But I should be; I'm glad something is happening with you though!

Thanks everyone! And yes, unfortunately I have not yet experienced going into labor on my own. With DS, my water broke and 2 days later I still wasn't having contractions. With DD, I was induced 9 days after my EDD. So maybe this time I'll get to experience my body doing its thing on its own!
