Affordable Photo Birth Announcements?

Hi ladies, I am due in 12 days and starting to give some thought into sending out a photo birth announcement to our friends and family once the baby arrives. I was wondering if any of you know of any websites that you can design your own or have a photo birth announcement done for a reasonable price. I like the ones on purplestork.com, but these are more than I can afford to pay. I like the idea of paying closer to $.60 per announcement, not over a dollar per card. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

The cheapest one's I have found are the .99 from Happy Greetings. I just don't think they are that cute...

: Walmart. They are cheap, and you design them, then choose to have them delivered to your house or to a local store. They'll even do them in one hour for you.

We used SnapFish. Depending on how many you purchase, you can get their "photo card" announcements for about 50 cents each with envelopes.

If you are handy with Photoshop, you can make your own 4x6 (or 3.5x5) announcement, save it is a jpg or gif, and have prints made anywhere that does photo processing--it's pretty common to see 10 cent deals. That's how we did our Christmas cards. The hardest part was finding envelopes that would fit neatly. I can't remember where we ordered them from, but there are a ton of stationary stores online.

We did the photoshop thing like ecoteat suggested! We sent ours to walmart.com and picked them up in an hour for $.19 each. If you get them mailed to you (it takes less than a week) it is only $.13!!!!
