Tighter Pants, 3 pounds??

I put on a pair of jeans today and noticed the lower zipper area was snugger than last time. So I am getting a pooch, even though you can't tell because I am overweight.

I am six weeks (four weeks fetal age) today. I've gained three pounds. Is that normal? I have to be really careful. I mean if I only gain 1 pound every 2 weeks that's 20 pounds and that's okay, but I know I will pack on more than that as the baby grows.

It's been tough with mom in town as I haven't been walking as much, she wants meat every night and with my protein craving I have been chomping away. She also bought icecream and did the Easter candy thing...

But still, I haven't been doing too badly and yet, three pounds. Ugh! We ended up walking for an hour this morning with the boys and the pregnancy fatigue consumed me for most of the day since. Ick...

Oh, oh, oh!! I bet I have put on at least a pound of boob already! That makes me feel better

I think three pounds is fine. I've already given up on my smallest pants and am now about 4 sizes up to fit comfortabley with very little weight gain. Just pooch. (I think I am still in the "loose" mode due to working out consistantly, which is good, it works out that I'm just not gaining as fast )

You'll have plenty of time to level out and Easter comes but once a year

Please let me make you feel better by telling you that I've gained over 10 pounds in the last 3 weeks. The only reason for it that I can think of is that I'm bloody exhausted so I'm not as active, and if I don't eat every two hours (hungry or not) I'm (TMI warning) throwing up stomach bile. And whatever I eat has to be bland, so I'm taking in alot of carbs. I sure hope things level out soon.

I've also gained 10 pounds. I'm 10 weeks along. But I've really been trying to eat as much as possible, protein especially, since I'm growing twins. In the last few days I've started feeling queasy for the first time and am having trouble figuring out what I can stomach- so I'm worried I'm not eating enough. Seems like if you're eating healthy food, no worries. Yeah, the Easter candy thing sounds like it won't happen again.

Remember, we're growing placentas, amniotic sacs, and expanded blood volumes too!

Am I supposed to be able to feel the top of my uterus a couple of inches below my belly button by now? It's a harder, rounded area, so I assume it's my uterus. I swear I have forgotten what it's like having babies!
