my bed was soaked!

I woke up at 5am with my 1 1/2 yo son to find the bed was soaked. My jammies on the side I was sleeping on were soaked as was my butt. When I felt my jammies, I tried to smell it to see what it might be. Nothing. I went to the bathroom and checked. Nothing happened. When I went back to bed, I checked my son and his diaper was so super saturated that it leaked everywhere. His shirt was soaked along with the blanket. I got excited over nothing. I was sleeping amongst my son's pee!

(sigh) I thought my water broke, but nope. Stupid diaper.

Oh that must have been a terrible letdown. But in hindsight it's kind of funny and makes a great story.

I think some day I'll be able to look back and laugh at myself for getting excited about sleeping in my son's pee. Thank god I didn't wake up DH for that!

Oh, I'm sorry but it is funny! Cute, so typical, eh? I'm sure the same thing would happen to me...

Too funny! That happens too much here for me to get worked up about. Luke was completely pt'd but has taken to peeing in the bed sometimes at night.

Oh, and I thought my water broke the other day as well. I had been sitting in the floor and got up to an entire backside soaked. I took my pants off and smelled them. Seriously thought about calling the midwife. Then I remembered Luke had spilt a cup of water there the day before... doh

A couple weeks ago I thought my water broke too. I was sitting on the couch talking to my mom and I felt a gush of fluid between my legs. All the blood drained out of my face- I was completely freaked out. then I realized I had a bowl of cereal in my lap that had spilled. I was so freaked out I didnt even thnk about the fact that the fluid was ice cold.

well, I had an OB appt yesterday. She thought it was funny, then she got serious and asked if I noticed anything 'coming out' since then and I said no. My mom thought it was hilarious too. I told DH, but he didn't say anything. Men just don't get it.:

Oh well. I'm hoping that since this is my 3rd and final baby that I'll be able to experience what it's like for my water to break. I had a leak with my 1st, but that was it.
