I'm at 37w5d and hanging in just fine. We're finishing painting the second room this weekend. I don't really call it a nursery, since we're co-sleeping, but it's a place for the glider, baby bureau, etc.
I've declined cervical checks and haven't bothered checking myself. I do have to get up more often to pee at night now and the OB did say the head feels relatively low. It's all just fine with me, though.
I made the mistake of consenting to a GBS swab (vag only) and tested positive. I asked to take matters in my own hands and will be recultured at 39 weeks. My OB is perfectly fine with that. So it's been oral garlic oil and vaginal garlic cloves. One question--how the heck do folks keep the garlic inside? It doesn't matter how far I stick it up there--it will be squeezed down to my vestibule within an hour while I'm sleeping. I'll find it dropping right into my hand at my next pee break. *grins* Fortunately, I slept for five-six solid hours last night, so it was at least close by for a good length of time.
Ah, well, at least I don't have to sew floss to the cloves.
I should go see if my painting clothes are dry. I didn't want to wash them until the room was done, but I sneezed yesterday. And, um . . . yeah.
