Awwww! I got goosebumps when I read your post! I feel priviledged (sp?) that mine was the first story that you read! Congrats on your pregnancy and wishing you a beautiful labor also!
Sorry I kind of abandoned the DDC. I really do think of you guys often, but don't have much time to get on. I'm too busy kissing tiny fingers and fat little cheeks!
We have a middle name for her now. Her name is Calla Grace W----. Grace just has a nice, peaceful sound to it and we thought she'd need something a little more common to offset her first name.
A few of you have asked how long my first labor was. Actually, my first two labors were textbook 8 hours, starting out slow and gradually building up. I pushed for about 20 minutes each time, give or take. They were both still fabulous births that I wouldn't trade for the world.
I expected a similar experience for birth #3, but Calla wanted to make a memorable entrance.........I wonder if she's setting the stage for the rest of her life?
