Fatigue?? I feel like I've been hit by a truck!!!

Ugh, I am SOOOOOO TIRED!!! Even w/ a nap everday, I'm in bed by 11:30 at the latest and I'm a grumpy, cranky, tired, b***ch during the day.

I've been very fortunate w/ m/s this pregnancy. With DS, I was throwing up at least 2x/ day, every day, until I was 14wks. With DD, it was about every other day til about 14wks. I haven't had any m/s yet with this pregnancy, but I am so much more tired than I ever was during the first 2.

My poor family. Luckily my parents only live 15min away b/c DH wouldn't be getting any home cooking if it weren't for going to my mom's so much lately. There's laundry piling up, the apt needs a vacuum and to be straightened up, and the kids need baths. I don't know how I manage to feed the kids during the day, I can barely get off the couch: Thank goodness they're both still nursing, I don't have to worry TOO much about their food intake

Anyone else feeling like they could go to bed until the end of the pregnancy?? Any ideas on how to have some more energy?? Teas I can drink?? Certain foods to eat??

I don't know, I'm pretty exhausted too. All I can say, is try to get more sleep. Some nights I go to sleep within a half hour after putting the kids down and sleep until they force me out of bed in the morning. I usually average 10 hours of sleep at night (now that I'm pregnant) and I average a solid nap 3 times a week or so. I'm not too irritable with the kids if I actually get enough sleep. But if I stay up a bit too late, I'm a huge grump the next day.

The only thing that helps me is going to bed earlier. I HATE going to bed at 9pm (just looked at the clock, it's almost bedtime) but I feel so much better the next day. This is my first, but I'm teacher, and I was getting so guilty at how grouchy I was towards my students just for acting their age. Now that I force myself to go to bed early I still have less patience than my pre-pregnancy days, but I'm less of a grouch.

Hang in there -- it sounds like you're getting some support from your family which is helpful. I don't know what I would without my husband to help. And I don't know how you ladies with other kids at home manage! I take my hat off to all of you!

I am 7 weeks ( i think) and I was so sick and tired last week-but this week I feel 100 times better. my husband went to our local health food store and asked for something for m/s. i started a new pre-natal w/ ample B6 and a separate mineral called l-methionine. When i say i think 7 wks i am having an u/s to confirm tomorrow. Doc said my uterus was bigger then he expected. this means 2 things-further along than I thought or more than one baby....we'll see!

Hang in there it should pass......

I'm having the same experience...nausea is mild (but sometimes I do get it), but I am exhausted! I'm so frustrated, I feel like nothing is getting done. All I can do is the most important things, and not worry about the non-essentials, and hope it gets better in a month when I hit my second tri! Good luck!

My mother is still here but will be leaving this Thursday. I will be lost without her doing the dishes and mopping!! OMG I don't even want to think about it. And the laundry! I caught up a few days ago and she's been doing some for me, but I don't know how I will get it all done if I stay this tired.

I will be 7 weeks this Thursday. I was always so sick and exhausted until 5 months or so with my others but this one is a bit different this time. I keep hoping to see the other side of this in a few weeks instead of a few months!

Take B6 for energy I think.

b6 has helped me a ton. That and naps. I'm usually a night owl, going to bed around 11:30-12, but I've been trying to get in bed by no later than 9:30, and it has helped a lot.

Eating well is important. Lots of nutritious foods, especially protein and complex carbs has kept my energy level up a bit. But I have yet to get m/s (didn't with dd either, and I was pg with twins at the time) so it's easy for me to eat.

UGH!!! Today was by far the worst day yet. I am sick and SO TIRED all day. And of course, today is Easter so we had to be up, around and go, go, going all day.

I just told my mama that my worst symptom yet is my exhaustion and I mean that in every possible way EXHAUSTION! She said it may be worse this time because I have a 3,2, and 1 year old to care for this round....: oh yeah I forgot....

I'm right there with you. Sometimes i feel like even if i slept 20 hours a day I'd still be exhausted. I LIVE for DH's days off, cus then I get a nap. DS stopped napping when he weaned, so I dont get one the rest of the time.

I never thought it was possible to be this tired and still be upright. If offered a choice between dinner with Johnny Depp and a nap, I'd choose the nap

I hear ya. Sometimes I start to feel like I can't breathe well or something. It is weird and I can breath fine, but it is just this heavy-chest, so very tired feeling. Yesterday I got a reprieve from the M/S thankfully, but now it is back some and I am so tired. Ugh. Work is so hard. Nap time anyone?

On Monday I felt just like that - super tired and my whole body was just aching! And that was after a great night of sleep! I couldn't believe it. Yesterday was a little better, but still tired. Feel asleep early again. Tonight I'm expecting the same. I already feel like I could knock out at the drop of a hat if I just laid down and closed my eyes. Oh yeah, and I've had a nap every day since Saturday. : though today's nap was cut short because the kids get off of school early on Wed.
