Does anyone here have experience with young infants that have required rectal stimulation or glycerin suppositories in order to have a bowel movement? Our DD was born on 1/27 and since the spontaneous passing of her meconium stools has only had two "unassisted" bowel movements. She is completely breastfed and has never had any other food. She has only had two of the typical runny breastfed baby stools, at approximately two weeks of age. Since those, all of her "assisted" bm's have been more of a pudding consistency. Our family doctor is aware and has not suggested seeing a specialist, but we are really starting to worry! She is gaining great weight, has very little spit up, and has never vomited...
