So, I have an ulcer. It has been coming and going since November. With this ulcer I also have chronic gastritis and at this point, burns in my esophagus and it hurts to swallow. So I don't want to hear anything about what natural remedies I've tried because I've tried everything that you could think of and at this point, I'm in pain and I just want it to stop.
Anyway, I went to the doctor last week and they put me on Aciphex. It's not working much yet - they said it could take from a week to 8 weeks to heal my stomach and esophagus. But I am SO tired, I can barely function. Is this a normal side effect of the medication? Has anyone else taken this?
I just feel bad because it's Easter and I'm sitting here alone with my three kids in pain, and so frigging tired I can barely move when I should be doing something with them.
