Beatrice Grace has arrived!
She was born on Friday, April 6th at 6:50p. I began with contractions around 1130p on Thursday night,and labored at home until about noon on Friday, and headed to the Birthing Suites to deliver.
What an incredibly powerful experience--I was lucky to have my husband, my twin sister and my mom there for me as support, plus the awesome midwife and nurse. Beatrice was 7lbs. 2 ozs and 20 inches of pure magic.
We are home now, getting situated and trying to get this breast feeding thing down. oy.
