Aurora has arrived!

After waiting the full 42 weeks to make an appearance in the world, Aurora (Rory) has arrived!

She was born at the Puget Sound Birth Center on Sunday, April 8th, at 10:56am. We had a full 14 hours of very active labor with about 3 hours of pushing. An anterior lip kept getting in the way, but we made it through it!

Thank you all so much for the support from this DDC, especially in these very long last few weeks! I look forward to talking with you more in the Life with a Babe forum!

8lb 4oz, 22" long. I thought she would be much bigger consider she had two extra weeks of baking time. And I am super glad that she wasn't.
