It wasn't easy declining a stretch and sweep!

I had a mw appt today, and had a VE finally. I was about 1cm and still posterior and somewhat effaced, but I could have been like that since Finn was born!! Anyway, she asked while she was in there if I wanted the sweep and I hesitated and then said no, I'll wait. It was tempting though, if I thought it would get things going...ah, I'm so impatient!

it would be hard to say no to anything to get things going in the home stretch...good for you! here's hoping your vote of confidence for 'nature' gives you a good karmic labor kick-in any minute!

I know it can be difficult to say no to a possibility of making this pregnancy end and to meet your baby.

My dr offered an elective induction for today and for a split second it was like "oh that would be so nice." But of course I turned it down.

You know I didnt think it would be an issue for me but if my MW offered at this point- it would take some inner strength to say no

Wow- good for you! I was a bit surprised when my mw suggested 'getting things going' already too, if I was approaching the weekend(ddate is the 12th.) Sure, I'd like to get things going, but I want them to do it on their own, not caused artificially by something else, even if I go a bit overdue. Mind you, once I hit 41 weeks, I'll take the offers!

boy I sure am feeling like that today, so ready to be done with things. good for you to stay strong, hopefully your lil' one will come soon enough.
