Does this sound like Endometriosis to you?

Hi mamas~ I'm pretty much a walking chronic illness I've dealt with health issues all my life but I wanted to ask you all about Endo.

My periods have ALWAYS been super heavy and painful but they have seemed to get much worse in the last few years. Here are my symptoms:

painful ovulation followed by a few days of mild cramps, nausea

10 dpo I start to cramp and feel yucky (normal pms'y type symptoms)
12 dpo I start to spot with light pink and sometimes brown blood
14 dpo I start like clockwork...intense cramps, nausea, diarrhea, super fatigued, and lately it hurts to make a bm....like someone is taking a hammer to my uterus.
I've tried to use a diva cup but OUCH....it's very sensitive in there during AF.

I also will have lots of clotting about 3 days into my period. The cramps will intensify and I will pass large clots....so gross
This time I've had some brown blood mixed in with bright red blood...so strange because it's only day 3.

I feel lots of pressure around my cervix and always thought that was "normal" but it's getting worse and we've been experiencing infertility for four years now. My dr. mentioned the possibility of endo but I havent had any real "tests". I had an U/S done a couple years ago and it showed a small fibroid on the outside of my uterus but my ovaries looked good.

I have other autoimmune issues so it wouldnt surprise me to have Endo but does it sound like endo or something else? Thanks mamas and sorry about the TMI

my smpathies to you

Your story sounds very similar to mine. I did have endometriosis when I was younger. In 1993 I had a lap where they cauterized some off. however, my second lap in 2000--everything was found to be "normal" yet my symptoms were worse:
Have you ever looked into a yeast problem? I did a yeast cleanse--followed a yeast free diet for a couple months and took difulucan and nystatin for a month or two. not only did I feel SOOO much better, I also lost about 30 lbs in the process.

Good Luck
I hope you feel better,

I have aggressive endometriosis that has now wrapped completely around my bowels and around my ovaries. I am awaiting surgery #4.

I *never felt normal. My periods (when I had them...I ALSO have severe PCO)were heavy lasting 14 days and were so painful that I would scream and cry. My mom thought I just had a low pain tolerance, and never had me checked. It went on and on and on, and by the time it was diagnosed it was almost too late. Luckilly I found a great suregon.

Anyway my point is....FIND OUT. DO NOT let an OB tell you no. Keep looking until you find a doc willing to check it out. I was not diagnosed until I had exploratory surgery.
