folic acid blues

Ok, so this isn't really a big thing, but, today, I took the last of the little folic acid pills in this GIANT bottle I had. I bought it about two years ago, when we first started ttc. It was the only size they had at the store, 365 tablets, and I remember thinking, "Wow, that's ridiculous! No way will I need that many!". And then, not only did I need that many, I needed that many inspite of taking them only sporadically. I get the recommended amount in my multi-vit, and then I go through periods of, "This is the dumbest activity ever! Why take folic acid when there is no chance in hell of conceiving?!" where I stop taking it as well.
Anyway, just boo. This is a sad thing for me, even though it's a relatively silly thing, so I'm sharing.

I know what you mean! Only, I think the same thing every time I buy the huge, jumbo pack of tampons. I think, where am I going to store these once I get pg? Then a couple of months later, I'm out buying more :

I felt the same way when I put off buying my keeper "in case I got pg and then had a vbac" for over a year, then finally bought one almost a year and a half ago. Even then, I thought I wouldn't need it for very long. :
