I just hate trying to eat. Nothing sounds good, everything stinks (and everyone, but that's another thread!), I can't hardly stand to cook, and I swear, everything has garlic in it! That's my absolute worst aversion this pregnancy. I can't wait for this phase to pass. And I feel terrible since dh is deploying soon and here I am letting him fiend for himself when it comes to food, do all the dishes, and of course, there's very little sex taking place. Man, I suck.
The only things that I really don't have an aversion to at all are fruit, Chocolate Peppermint Larabars, cereal and milk, and water and sprite. I don't think that's a very well rounded menu. Regular food is just not something I can really handle right now.
I can't remember how long this lasts, but I know it did not last for my entire pregnancies. I'm pretty sure in the second tri I started eating normally for the most part, but I kind of doubt the garlic aversion is going to go away anytime soon, and that just really sucks!
ETA: I'm grateful that at 9 weeks, my ms is much better, still there, but not as bad as last week. But the food aversions have not lightened up one bit.
