We have a heartbeat!

I had my ultrasound today, was really scared and freaked out all drs thought I was miscarrying, because of lots of bleeding, cramping and fevers this weekend, along with the various infections....well we have heartbeat! The Tech said baby measured 8w2d and hb was 158 per min!

Thats wonderful news!!! I was just coming here to post my story but its so similar to yours. I had heard the heartbeat on friday and on Sun started bleeding Bright red blood. I have never done this before. I thought for sure I was going to m/c. All was well though. The doc said it just happens sometimes! What a scare huh? Glad everything worked out well for you.

I had spotting on and off with my last and he is now a beautiful 19 month old! I am so happy for both of you that you got to hear/see the hb. That is such a special moment

I feel great now. Not physically, still sick...but emotionally I feel great. Of course things can go wrong still, they always can, but I feel so much more optimistic after all the yucky medical professionals were saying the worst, now I am feeling for the best.
