I'm only just 8 weeks pregnant and I've got to break out the old maternity pants already. This is sick. I need to walk more because I'm going to be one huge pregnant lady even by the 6th month. This is really funny because I never looked more than 6 months when I was pregnant with my son. I seriously look twice as pregnant as I did when I was 4 months along with him. God I hope its not twins.: Who else is having to break out the stretchy pants right about now?

That's within the normal range for a second pregnancy I know what you mean, though...the thoughts that run through your head. This is my sixth "sticky" baby and my jeans were tight before my period was even late. I went to Old Navy and got some of those low banded pants. I never thought I'd like those, and I just love them. But I'm thinking the *exact* same things you are. For someone who is pretty much on bedrest at 27 weeks due to carrying problems, twins would be a frightening prospect.

You're normal. I've been down to two pairs of pants for awhile, one of them is a pair of stretchy yoga pants.

Yup, unfortunately that seems normal for second and more PGs. I've been in low-rise maternity pants or stretchy pants since 7 1/2 weeks I guess. But on the upside, as soon as I ditched the tighter pants that pressed on my tummy, I had a lot less gas pain, bloating, and nausea!

This is my fourth baby (6th pregnancy) and I haven't gotten the maternity pants yet...although it won't be long! I have a "belly" that I think looks pregnancy but nobody else can even tell! I did get all my maternity clothes out and I keep looking at them, but I'm not ready for them yet!

I am so glad to hear this! I thought I was the only one. I have been in loose dresses because I felt like it was too early to be in maternity pants, but now that I know you all are in them, I feel better about wearing them!
