Sarasota area meet-ups

Jilian suggested a new thread for our meet-ups, so here it is...

Our next "play-date" is tomorrow, April 11th at 2pm at the Colonial Oaks Park in Sarasota. I think about 6 moms have said that they are planning on coming. YAY!!!

It looks like it is supposed to rain this afternoon We're gonna wait and see how the weather looks before we head out. If it looks cloudy we'll wait for next week's meetup.

It is still totally clear here... NOT A SINGLE CLOUD!!! The local weather forecast also said that the chances of rain today are very slim.

I wish I could have made it... my chiropractor fit me in this afternoon because my back was out (getting to the fun part of the pregnancy ) I'm glad you had a nice time... looking forward to the next meet-up!

I'm feeling much better, thank you . I was really looking forward to coming too. I'm pretty open for next time, the only days I can't come are Tuesdays and on Wednesdays before 2pm. How was Colonial Oaks, did it work for all the kids? The park we went to in Venice wasn't good for the babies, and it was right next to the road without a fence. Any thoughts on a day or place for next time?

I really liked colonial oaks, it was shaded and fenced in with a few benches. DS really liked it there too.

Would anyone be interested in meeting up at Colonial Oaks again in about 2 weeks? Wed @ 2:00 worked good for us, is that a good time/day for everyone else? 2 weeks would be Wed April 25

Just wanted to bump and see if anyone was up for meeting next week. We can do pretty much any day either early morning or in the afternoon (2 ish).

Sophie and I are available any time this week, and Monday through Wednesday of next week. DH is having surgery to correct his deviated septum next Thursday, so we have to play nurses on Thursday and Friday (4/26 and 4/27). Any place that's fenced is good, as Soph is an escape artist!

I'm not sure yet if Wed works for us. Tyler is starting swimming classes and this week it's on Wednesday afternoon... not sure if it's going to be the same time every week (I think we schedule week to week depending on what's available). I'll let you know I should find out today.
