ive scanned through this, and it seems to be back n forth from port charlotte to sarasota? is there a meeting of mommas on monday, as in july 23rd, 11:00 is that open to anyone? is that prt charlotte or sarasota? do u all allready know each other? should i have firgured this all out without having to ask?

Anyone is welcome to come, we've only recently met each other and there are still quite a few moms that I haven't met yet. We're meeting at the Port Charlotte Mall play area outside of Bealls on July 23 @ 11am.

I just got an e-mail reminding me that North Port LLL meets this monday at 10 so I might try to make that metting, Evan is still having some latch issues. I might still be able to make it to the play date too.

yeah, i would be late as well.from 11:00 to ....? all hang out for about an hour, more? where in the mall is it? i know where the movies are...and the barnies coffee. monday, i will def try to get down there, ill tell a friend that is moving to north port too, she should meet some mommas.

Barnies is now a Starbucks: We'll probably be there from 11-1pm ish. There is a kids play area between the Bealls and JC Penney. I hope to see you there!

starbucks, damn, i hate that i like them. when i had a black cat i named her sumatra. here in venice, i need to change my location, it says sarasota, they are putting in a starbucks in one biulding next to another that was identical- 2 starbucks? regular and decaf? bogo? no, just a kinkos, up all night making copies. last time i went into kinkos noone could help me i needed.....a typewriter.
glad u like my user name, its my license plate, gets me into trouble when i cut off my own patients i am in a hurry to get to. people ask about it alot, if i am not there, dh tells em he is a porn star.
i think i may be close to on time, i really dont like to be late. if i tell a friend, if she comes, she WILL be late, just always is, doesnt seem to bother her though....

Hey, mamas. I am not positive if I am going to make it tomorrow. Due to our fender-bender, I may be wrapped up with the ins. company, plus I need to figure out the deal with our carseats, since I'm not comfortable using them any more than I have to till we get new ones, even though the wreck was minor. And, I am honestly still a shaken up over the whole thing. So, if I don't make it, have fun mamas, and I will be at the next one. :

yeah, sorry, hope u are going to get good care- in port charlotte? i know of a good acupuncturist, an old classmate, and a good body talk therapist.
had an accident fall last year, ds still talks aboutt, when we go through the light we were hit, he says, "mommy car went BOOM CRASH, all over the road!" take the time you need, worst thing i did was push on through the pain and keep on working- it was harder on me than birth. went back to work after a day after ds birth, no problem, went back to work after accident, still paying for it! blessings to u an yours....

What time Friday? We are going to a HS park day at 9 am, so I would guess the way the heat is we wont stay past 10:30.

I had no idea you were spreading rumors about me on MDC! Yes- I am late for get togethers- 50% of the time, I'd say. It used to fill me with anxiety...but now- I just do my best and know that life happens. Excuse my driving-from-bradenton-self {who let my husband put the kids in the car to 'help'...without their shoes - doh!} with 4 kids and a 4 month old nursling who had to eat before we left - the NERVE...!!!!!


I am glad I got to meet M & M - you both seemed pleasant. I look forward to coming down again.

i was caught talk'in trash! lol!i read it over and i shouldnt have put will in caps, just wrote out wrong, thinking out loud. was happy to meet everyone and overlap u some. took me some time just to go up to someone and ask if u were here for mothering! i woulndt have made it in your position, no shoes.i would freak cause i was late. but i suck. we actually skipped library cause i dint want to be late- we were early. and then we went back n forh to bahroom, ect. whew, i was tired when we got home! but we would like to go again, it is like a blind date, looking for who might be there.....like i remeber dating!
so dh says we should really be like a blind date and all wear carnations or a ribbon! lol!i think the slings are the give away, just walk away from the high heels and toward the slings......
did u get a smoothie- did she give u extra, and free cups? that was cool. made up ffor being talked into the carosel by ds. ahhh, i remember when he didnt know they moved......
ohh, and i like the pic, how did u do that, never mind, i woulndt do it. scare myself!
