Have you sent dh/dp out in the middle of the night yet?

It's 11 pm and I just sent my dh out for Gatorade. I'm mostly ok during the day, but by evening, I'm so nauseated I don't even want to drink water. However, ice cold fruit punch Gatorade....yum! Sometimes it even settles my stomach.

I figure he can blame himself though...I asked him to bring home "a lot" of it last time he went to the gas station....he brought 2 bottles. That's not "a lot".

I haven't, but dh commutes 62 miles to work so I'd never have the heart to send him in the middle of the night. Now I have sent him before he goes to work, and as he's coming home...and after dinner...and...and... I'm just very liberal about it now because I have to function with all these kids.

My dh is sweet and has helped with the house work a great deal, but he would not go out in the middle of the night for me. No matter how much I begged. He generally doesn't like to go out a lot, so the few times he has run out to get something for me, I've really appreciated it.

Not the middle of the night, but the other night I sent him at 9:30pm for an order of Five Guy's french fries. I just had such a craving for the salty, peanut oil deep fried fries

OMG- Five Guys!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Nope, no way would DH go out in the middle of the night. Actually, I'm not sure there's anything open around here anyway! lol

Gosh, can I name all the places??

I get extreme craving around 11...and thankfully we are in a city where things are open late...

I've had mexican, chinese, indian, various burger places...subs, fries, eggplant parm....Thankfully DH learned his lesson from DS's preg and just goes. Better to keep me fed and happy.

I nearly did the other night. I was struck by a mad craving for this stuff you get at Asian markets that you shake over rice - Nom Komi Fum Furikake. ITs powdered seaweed, toasted black and white sesame seeds, sea salt, and some other things. Shake it over a bowl of sticky sushi rice and its absolutely mouthwatering. I wanted some so bad. But it was 10 pm, and we live in the part of town with no japanese market. So I will just have to wait until we have a day off to drive to downtown Denver to go to the market there.

I told DH he's lucky I love him so much otherwise I would have sent him out at 10 pm looking for a 24-hour Japanese Market

My dh has to get up at 5 a.m. so I don't force him out in the middle of the night. He's pretty good about going out all other times though...although today he bought 3 Musketeers instead of Milky Way... : :

I don't think there's much open here in the middle of the night -- I guess it's a good thing I haven't had any strong cravings!

Can't here. The closest place to eat is the "tavern" about six miles away, and it would make you gag it's so gross. Then the next closest is a half hour.

But I've had many cravings while in town that we *had* to get.

We don't drive...and I do not have the heart to send DH anywhere on foot or bicycle to satisfy a craving...so I had better not get any! I also agree I much prefer he be home to help with the girls.

see, i've tried HARD to send him out.. so nauseated that i can't cook, and then i get really hungry because i didn't eat supper. DH (which for today, stands for dumb ass hubby), promises he will go out, and then, just doesn't. i was up until 9:30 last night, waiting for 2 hours for him to go out, at which point, the exhaustion took over, and i had to go to bed. i still wanted that freaking DQ blizzard !!!!

I've got the same problem here but luckily DH is good about going out to pick something up if he's not going to cook. I'd almost rather send him out sometimes b/c the other night he cooked then it was so gross I almost couldn't eat it and I was hungry afterwards anyway!
No midnight runs to the store (yet!). Last pregnancy I sent DH out at 11:30 pm to get some Corn Pops and he still hasn't let me forget it!

Well, not in the middle of the night (I'm sleeping as much as I can these days)...but DH is out right now getting me my favorite veggie burger and a milkshake. I'll try to share the milkshake, but this bambino needs food!
