I am trying to figure out why my baby is having so much trouble bfing lately...I think we may have thrush, but there's no obvious white cheesy or crusty growth. My milk supply suddenly dwindled to almost nothing on Monday night, I've been pumping like crazy and taking fenugreek to get it back to normal. Anyt ideas om diagnosing thrush or other issues? My baby is 2 months old, nurses only with a nipple shield, has acid reflux, nurses constantly and latches poorly...but my milk has been flowing very nicely until now. His suck has been progressively weaker over the past week and he's only gained a few ounces in the last 3 weeks (we're seeing the ped tomorrow). The local lactation consultant is useless, so I need help from experienced mamas.
