Well Sierra had her nightly x ray and it looked "beautiful" her lungs are actually clearer and less hazy and we could see the extent of the lung damage. The Klebsiella that has been living in her lungs for the past 4 weeks is finally moving out after 7 antibiotics. Her left lung is less damaged than her right and has new growth. Her right lung has significant damage and is under inflated. There is alot of scarring on it however with new growth it will improve. That was our good news for the day. So once Klebsiella goes away we are just dealing with 2 fungal infections which also are affecting her respiratory wise. I prayed for a miracle last night after we were told by the RT that we had no hope left. Sierra is proving everyone wrong again
Are you ready for some good news?
