Introducing Audrey Grace

Audrey Grace was born Friday, April 6, 2007 at 5:55 am, weighing in at a small but mighty 5 lbs 14 oz and 18" long. The induction was a little over 36 hours long, and I ended up needing an epidural, but in the end it was really good and she was born vaginally, sunny side up, after 45 minutes of pushing and with only a tiny tear. I'm feeling really good, and loving finally being mama. We're settling into life as a family pretty easily and she's nursing really well, despite being a little early and a little jaundiced (and a lot sleepy,) and she's shown no ill effects from my ICP.

Congrats on your lovely baby!!! My daughter was (4 weeks) early and sleepy too. The first week was a bit brutal trying to get her to wake up enought to feed, but now she's actually waking up at regular intervals and nursing heartily, so don't despair if it is tough at first... for me it was really worrisome but all good now!

Our oldest was the same weight. We had to get some preemie clothes for the first month or 2. Such cute little peanut. Congrats!

oh, my goodness, I do love that hair! That reminds me so much of Luke, he was born with a full head of dark hair (which is now a strawberry blonde) too cute!

Not in your ddc but I have to say how beautiful your baby is! My dd was also tiny with lots of hair. There is something sooooo sweet about little babies.
