Possible Diaper Swap

Well November mamas, I just looked at the swap rules and I can't be a coordinator because I haven't participated in any swaps and you have to have been in at least four. :
I don't know if anyone else is interested in taking on the coordinator position so our diaper swap might just end here. If the swap does happen, I'm hoping we could wait until the majority of us are at 12 weeks. Maybe some mamas would want to wait until they know gender.
If no one from our DDC wants to coordinate maybe we could find someone on the swap board and open it up to a newborn diaper swap. Just an idea.
What do you guys think? What would you want in a diaper swap? Price range? Types of dipes? What?

I think a swap might be fun. I've never done one before though. I don't know how it should work or anything... I do think it would be better to do it later in our pregnancies. At least 12 weeks for all of us, maybe even more towards the middle?

I love the idea. I want to swap, but I don't know how and have not been a MDC member long enough to be aloud on the official swapping area. I don't think. I went to http://www.swapbabygoods.com/search....Name=Diapering
and I put some diapers on there, but I would prefer to do it with MDC. Thanks for asking. I just need someone to tell me what to do and when.

I think it's a good idea and would be interested. I've been in coops but not swaps, so not sure how it works and I couldn't organize. Another vote for sometime after 20 weeks.

Well let's keep this on the back burner for now, but hopefully other November mamas will want to join so they can post on this thread if they have any interest. Would you mommas be open to asking other women from due date clubs close to us in order to get more swappers?

I'd love to do this- I haven't been in a swap before, so I couldn't lead though.

Is it totally uncool to take it off the board to a Yahoo group or something if no one is eligible to lead?

I had posted earlier about a 2nd trimester swap-we coudl include dipes and any other items if you wanted, like layette or bath items etc....mama stuff like belly balm etc etc....Its best to do it second trimester in my opinion just to get a touch more of a concrete group. I can organize if you want.....
