The person I was talking about had Banned under their name. Silly Banned sounds cool and everyone seems to be proud of it.

But what would cause someone to have their privileges removed? Sure don't want that to happen to me.:

It could be for many reasons. Sometimes people join our boards just to try and sell a product or service (spam) in that case, they are immediately banned. other times, members don't abide by our User Agreement. We have an alert/warning system we use, so it's no surprise to a member

Alerts are issued by a moderator. Warnings are issued by an administrator. Three alerts equal a warning. Three warnings result in a suspension for one month. Suspension may be from a specific forum or all of MDC. Two suspensions may result in removal of membership. Based on the severity of the violation or the number of previous violations by a member, the Administrator may issue a warning, suspension or ban.

Trust me, you'll know well in advance if your going to be banned

Out of respect, we don't discuss members who were banned on the boards, but if you have a specific question about a member you can PM myself or Abimommy and we'll try to answer you as best we can
