I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Thank goodness it didn't get violent. I also think that a call to 911 is a good Idea as would paying and driving away. I was hit by a car last year at my partner's family reunion (we're bi and poly and came out as poly at the reunion. I don't know if it was because we came out or if was an accident... but the driver never stopped either way. There is nothing more terrifying then being attacked (verbally, or physically) by a closeminded hate filled person. *hugs* and take of yourselves!
