My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

My twin just made the kindergarten cutoff (by 2days). They started K the week they turned 5.
They are in 7th grade now, and we have never regetted the decision to start them at 5. They do very well acaemically and socially. They are both big boys (5'9" and still growing!), which makes it easier for them to fit in, even though they are the youngest in their grade.
When they were in 2nd grade, B's teacher didn't realize until spring conferences that he was the youngest, not the oldest, in the class! That really confirmed that we had made the right decision.
We have friends whose dd missed the cutoff by 2 weeks, and opted not to petition to start her early, even though she was very much ready (socially and academically). They had no doubts about her kindergarten readiness, but they didn't want her to be the youngest 9th-grade girl in her class. She's doing fine (in 2nd grade), but I know that my sons would be bored silly right now if they were in 6th grade instead of 7th.
