Poor, poor Mama, what a terrible day and experience! UGH! : Please, please try your darndest to rest and relax (so easy to say, huh? : ).

I don't blame you for wanting to go home! 45 minutes isn't so far... and it sounds like it is better for you, mentally, to be home rather than in a strange and unfamiliar (and unsupportive, in the case of the hospital!) environment. I'd encourage you to try to get some rest and relax and concentrate on having a beautiful birth and a gorgeous new little one in your arms soon, because it sounds like baby is definitely ready to arrive.

Best of luck!!!!

this is CRAZY i am sorry too, mama.....

maybe you can focus on the fact that the nurses will be really supportive and great, and they are gonna be the ones you spend all of your time with, as opposed to the mean doc who will hopefully only come in at the end.

are there nurses available who might be supportive of the birth you want? can you request that?

good luck........keep strong!!

THank you all soo much! I really needed to read your words of encouragement to bring me back to my grounding place. I've spent most of the last 24 hours crying and feeling fearful. I hope that I can collect myself again and be in a calm place when this little girl arrives. It seems she wants to come sooner then I was ready and I really need to accept this and try to get back to feeling good about things instead of feeling so insecure and afraid.
THank you again for all your prayers and encouraging thoughts. I will be here to give you my strength when the time comes. X0X0X0X0

We're here for you! Good luck whatever may happen. I'm sure that your DH is supportive and will be there for you. Maybe you can Oops UC at the hotel near the hospital and then go over... relaxed atmosphere for birth and the medical help nearby if you need it

I don't think that 45 min is that far either and since you obviously are aware of your body and what is going on then I would stay home until you are having some real contractions and then head on in.

I can't remember what town you are birthing in. I can probably arrange somewhere for you in Winfield if that helps you, but I think you are further north than that.... I know you're a bit short of cash for hotels these days with DH not working. Let us know what we can do for you!!

Praying for you and your little girl! It may be stressful now, but once you hold her in your arms it will all be worth it no matter what happens. Make sure your DH is strong and firm with those nurses and doctors too, that will help a lot I am sure. Good luck and sending good birth vibes your way.

THank you all sooo much!!

I went for another doctors check today. I am still 2-3 cm and baby is stillr eally low. I've been having contractions for 3 days now and I am pretty worn. I lost a ton of my plug over 2 days and have had 2 little bloody shows. I feel so worn from all the contractions and lack of sleep, but I am taking things moment to moment. I go back in the hospital on Friday for another long NST and cervical check and ultrasound, if she's not here by then.
THank you sooo much for all of your loving support. (((((((huge hugs)))))))

Oh, I'm so sorry things are this stressful lately! How frustrating!

I hope that you are able to relax and get some rest. That might help her to make her move into the world.

Just wanted to say you are in my thoughts. I'm hoping those doctors pull their heads out of their you know where and treat you with the respect you deserve.

Regardless though, soon you'll have a beautiful little girl and be home with her and everything will be just fine!

Thanks hon! :0)

This baby really wants to come. I don't know how much longer I can hold on to her. I've been trying sooo hard to hold her in longer with mediatation and relaxation and it has got me a couple days further, but I am having sooo much pressure and my boobs have gotten so full, they are ready to pop and it is so uncomfortable to get up and walk. I'm trying though to get her a few more days because we aren't even 37 weeks yet. I've never worked so hard to keep a baby IN!! Lol! I did get a short, but better sleep last night. 6 hours doesn't seem like quite enough though when you have a big job ahead.
Thank you for all your positive thoughts. I can sure use them. :0)
I hope you are all doing well too! Many good thoughts are on their way back to you!
