When do your breasts start hurting?

I remember w/ my last pregnancy my breasts really hurt for the first trimester, but I am not sure when the pain started (4 weeks? 5? 6?). I am just four weeks today. I am still nursing and so far, no pain or discomfort at all. Should I be concerned? When did your breasts start hurting? I am anxiously awaiting "symptoms" because it helps me feel better about the viability of the pregnancy (I know, I'm a nut.)

I am 5 weeks today and still no breast tenderness. I honestly can't remember with my first pg when they started to get tender. I hope not any time soon. My DD has a bad cold and has been nursing like crazy around the clock

This pregnancy they started right away..that's what got me to take a preg. test at 3.5 weeks!...and they still do at 6.5 weeks! BUT...with my triplet pregnancy they didn't hurt at all? I guess it's true...every pregnancy is different...

With my first they hurt around 3.5 weeks, I could barely take a shower. With #2 they barely hurt, and I'm pretty sure even if they did it wasn't until after 8 weeks. This time just a little and right around 4 weeks.

Mine definitely hurt more in my first pregnancy by this point. I'm nursing my 20month old and she only uses my left breast...the left one doesn't hurt at all and the right one is just barely starting to be sore if I press on it. I'm 5 weeks at this point. I'd really rather it never hurt when she nurses because she is nursing crazy here lately!

Mine's the same...around 5 weeks, then some days they wouldn't be so sore, but now they don't miss a day and my nipples just started to get sensitive right after I hit the 6wk mark...maybe the next day. I'm 6w4d.

I swear, it was right after conception!

I'm only 6.5 weeks, and it's been constant. I can barely stand to wear clothes. Since I haven't told @ work yet, I feel like a weirdo most days, surreptitiously sneaking into the ladies' room to rub my chest!

I still don't really know how far along I am so I'll just say this. I think I'm about 4 weeks and bbs started hurting last week. I just figured Chez needed to nurse, until I clued into what was happening.

I would say that I notice my nipples are a bit more tender during nursing, but not as much as they were with the other 2 pregnancies in which I was nursing. I'm only 4 1/2 weeks right now, though, so the soreness may not have really started yet.

Mine just started hurting at 5.5 weeks, but I only notice because my dd is still nursing. It mainly just hurts when she latches on. Without a nursing toddler, I don't think I would otherwise notice.

With all 3 of my other pregnancies, I had *major* sore boobage before I could even test positive. It was my 1st symptom, every time. This pregnancy is the first one I have had while breastfeeding & I haven't had a bit of breast pain at all! It's so weird to me, sometimes I have to remind myself that I am pregnant because my symptoms are unlike any other pregnancy. I blame it on breastfeeding, my hormones from that are throwing everything out of whack.

When I was pregnant with my dd and nursing my ds, I got breast tenderness almost immediately....it was really hard, but I got him to open wide when he latched ( he was around 27 months when I got pregnant) and that helped. The pain subsided around 5 months, my milk was gone at 4 months though, and he continued to nurse till the 8th month.

When I was pregnant with my last baby, I didn't get sore UNTIL the 4th month. It was so strange. I kept waiting for the pain, and I didn't. It wasn't until my supply dipped that I started to experience nipple tenderness and pain.

I'm still nursing my 27 month old dd now and am not experiencing any pain again. I'm glad. I'm not sure what the future holds as far as weaning or future tandem nurisng, but I have a long time to think about it. Don't worry if you are or aren't experiencing pain, every baby, and pregnancy is different.

mine hurt this time and the first time pretty much from conception the second time they were a little sore but no where near as bad. i'm wondering if they're more sore this time because my 3 year old only stopped nursing in november. not so long ago.
