I had posted about having bloody show on Saturday afternoon and contractions started about an hour later. I was in early labor FOREVER and then at 8:00 am on sunday our daughter joined us at home. I finally got the homebirth I've dreamed of! I did get discouraged that I was pushing for so long (was an hour but felt like 5..lol) but then when she was born we realized why....her foot came out with her head! The birth attendents had never seen anything like it. I didn't tear at all either so I guess thats one nice thing about having a slow pushing stage. My two daughters ages 5 and 3 were there watching and it was amazing! Shes nursing like a pro and we are just adjusting to life with a newborn again. I'll have pics soon!
