Birth: 9lbs 3 oz
Day 4: 9lbs 2 oz
Day 8: 9lbs 6 oz
Day 16 (today!): 10lbs 4 oz!
He is clearly having a hard time!
I am a milk over-producer and a milk fast-letdown kinda girl, so my milk, while abundant, is choking the wee bairn, and he gets frustrated sometimes. He wants to just suck for comfort sometimes, and gets really mad when the milk goes shooting out of his nose. Many things smell like milk and he has much neck-cheese from all the flowing milk. However, I am lucky to not have to experience the particularly worrisome mothering experience of supply issues, so I am counting my blessings.
