My first pregnancy, I gained 20 pounds more than I should have, but then I lost it, got pregnant again but our baby died with a birth defect, so I got depressed and didn't lose my baby fat. So now I am pregnant with my third baby, at 160 pounds. (before I even got pregnant with my first child, I was 130-so I am 30 pounds overweight) So I am just wondering is this normal? I feel like I am off to a bad start as far as weight is concerned, also I noticed at 5 weeks, I feel bloated, I hope I didn't gain weight and it is just part of the beginning pregnancy signs. I do know that I will probably get bad case of morning sickness as I did with the last two and I usually lose about 10 pounds. So maybe that will help?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I started off my 3rd pregnancy 15 lbs over my normal weight (I gained 55 lbs with my 1st two). Baby 3 is now 15 months and I weigh less than when I got preggers with no dieting. I do exercise, tho. Just not regularly. I am back to my original weight. You can do it no prob.!
PS I lost a baby between my first 2. I think it is normal about the weight and depression thing. It all resolves itself over a few years. I learned to embrace my sadness and to be gentle with myself, including how I view my body. That helped me to truly recover...

Ugh I ment to lose at least 10 lbs before getting pregnant, instead I gained 10. So I'm now atleast 30 lbs over weight. I lost all my baby weight w/ dd but gained it all back after giving birth. I actually was 10 lbs less leaving the hospital then before I got pregnant. Grrrr.
Thank you beansavi for your kind words. And Stellimamo, I have seen others lose weight after baby is born, so I know it can be done, I just hope I am one of those women you know?! Maybe after our babies are born, we ought to start a "get fit" forum for us mamas!
