Wiping the dog's feet when you let her in after she's been playing in the mud! :

shaving the legs? it wouldn't be so bad in the bath, but the shower - forget it.

sitting up from a lying down position - it used to be simple...

and i agree re: washing dishes - i just moved into a new place and the sink is distressingly far away from the edge of the counter. that combined with the belly distance makes it ridiculous.

Wiping after going to the bathroom :
Food prep
Breathing
Doing laundry
Pushing a shopping cart
Sleeping
Eating or drinking without spilling it on your belly
Maneuvering through a crowded restaurant

Getting the last of the cloths out of the bottom of the washer.

Reaching the soap at the back of the kitchen sink.

Seeing the cat standing at my feet so I don't step on her.

* Working retail--I can barely reach across our counter to hand a customer her change!

* Picking up my preschooler, or holding him on my "lap." We've found alternate snuggle positions, but this is the hardest thing for me.

laying my little one down in her crib, most of the time i just kind of drop her in there! shaving your legs...forget it! but i will admit i do like the fact that i have a shelf,it's multifunctional.i can use it to write checks and such and it comes in handy at night to rest my bowl of icecream on!

bending over from sitting on a chair to reach something on the ground!

Shaving your nether regions Using a hand-held mirror and hoping for the best is just dangerous!

I'm with Willow on the "picking up your preschooler" I hate that I can no longer lift DS, and it makes him sad too. The other day I tried to pick him up when he was sleeping in the car and he woke up and said "You remembered how to pick me up!" he was so excited. I could only hold him for about 30 seconds and it hurt.

- Nursing a toddler (though she doesn't think so!)

- Holding my DD in my lap for books - it's frustrating for both of us!

- Picking ANYTHING up from the ground.

- Driving - I scoot my seat all the way back, but then my arms can barely reach, but I can't bear to sit any closer to the steering wheel - makes me nervous!

- Wiping :

- Finding/wearing any clothes that are comfortable. I actually was SO uncomfortable the other day that DD & I stopped at Target specifically just to find a pair of pants that I could buy & put on the ladies room, and spend the rest of my day comfortably! I considered it a necessary expense.

tying my toddler's shoes! They have learned to bring their feet UP to me

I gave up on the netherregions long ago.

Anything with bending. Getting pots/pans from the bottom cupboard, lifting DS, giving him baths, picking up toys, making the bed, etc

~Picking things up from anywhere other than a table

~Milking goats

~Getting out of the bathtub w/o help (we have no shower)

~Getting out of bed the MANY times needed to pee during the night!

Getting out of the car or bed

Unloading the dishwasher

Picking anything up off the floor

Putting on socks-I actually had DH do this for me the other day!

And I second the finding/wearing comfortable clothes or shoes!

...washing my 5yo's hair. Fortunately she's otherwise self sufficient in the tub. I feel for you mamas with younger children!

Carrying full laundry baskets. I have to hold them too far away from my body.

Getting into or out of the pool anywhere but at the ladder.

I haven't shaved anything in a long time.

rolling over in bed, it takes like 3 big moves.

tieing shoes

I know it has been mentioned, but... holding DS on my lap

picking anything up off the floor

getting up off the floor if I happen to sit there

finding any comfortable position at all!

Explaining to my 2 1/2 year old that I can't nurse her while she sits in the sling and we are shopping - because my belly is too big and that we will have to find a place for everyone to sit down first. Then hearing my 4 1/2 year old advocating for his sister that she really wants to nurse and the ensuing discussion about how my belly keeps getting bigger and bigger. We've gotten some strange looks at those conversations.

Cleaning the bathtub.... (this is not something I personally do regularly, but there was some paint in it left over from easter eggs....)

Carrying your 30 lb toddler This has me very sad, he still needs me soooo much, and I want to continue to care for him the same way I always have sooooo badly, but sometimes it seems impossible
