Uganda story

This morning I heard a radio story on the kidnapping of children in Uganda. Here's a http://discover.npr.org/rundowns/segment.jhtml?wfId=1293265 link[/URL] to an audio file. I couldn't believe it. Elementary school aged children come from the villages around this city to sleep, because if the sleep at home they could be kidnapped from their beds. It was like a crazy dream, all these children walking barefoot to sleep in a huge crowd of kids at the bus station.

I don't think there is anything we can do about this, i just thought as parents you'd like to know.

I couldn't read the story for some reason. What is happening to the kidnapped children? How horribly sad!
