Wasp/Yellow Jacket in my kitchen help ASAP please

I do not want to cook dinner in there with my dd and a child I am watching without getting rid of it first. I have no widows that open, I have been trying for hours to heep an eye on it so that I could trap it in something. No luck.

I do not have a fly swatter, or rolled up newspapaer. I do not want to upset it and or cause it to get mad.

What would attract it? I am thinking a piece of raw meat? Might something else be better? Thinking that then I could put a cup/bowl over it and my DH can deal with it when he gets home. Or it dies a slow painfull death. . .

Akkkk. Please help.

Do you have a can of soda or something else really sweet? That should draw it and then you can get it out of the house... I just saw a little device the other day that you put in the top of a two-liter bottle that allows bees in, but they can't get back out...I need to get some of those now that spring is really here. Anyway, back on topic, I think try something sweet to trap it! Good luck!
