is my belly supposed to be growing??

OK-so this is baby number 1-and my regular pants this morning wouldn't shut right, so I wore a Bella Band. I measured and my waist is a whole inch thicker but I haven't gained weight. Is this normal?

I think it is! I am only 7.5 weeks and haven't been able to button my pants for a couple of weeks or so now. I haven't gained a single pound but look like I have gained 10!!

This is definitely true for me too. With all of my pregnancies, my belly has gotten bigger really early.

This is my third baby and I feel like I already popped out and I am only in my fifth week!!! That makes me feel better that everyone else is going through the same thing. But I remember for my first baby, I got morning sickness so bad that I lost like 10 pounds. So I have yet to cross the terrible sickness yet, so who knows...

I'm so glad you guys are saying this. I thought it was way too early for that and I was really concerned that my pre-pregnancy weight was not what I wanted it to be. Was looking at myself the other day and appaulled at the little pooch I seem to have. I've kinda let myself go since finding out I'm pg, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to slim down after pregnancy. I guess maybe my chubby-looking tummy could be from the baby and not from my laziness.

I'm dealing with the same thing. Most of my pants don't fit me right now and I'm only 6 and a half weeks or so along, but I haven't gained any weight either.

I am absolutely HUGE! I won't be surprised if they tell me it is more than one, although I doubt is it. I am really, really big already.

I can't lose the post partum weight until I wean, but since my youngest has not fully weaned yet, I am still huge from last time. Yet, my pants are already TIGHTER! :
