not so good news- update post 28

I had my follow-up ultrasound and midwife appointment-- it did not go so well.
They could not find a heartbeat and at this point they really should have. I have another follow up next Wednesday to be sure, but we're not really hopeful anymore.

My symptoms are still here, but getting to be less and less, although I'm still throwing up at least once a day. It seems like a cruel joke that I should still have morning sickness and not have a baby.

Anyway-- I hope everyone else here has a really healthy and happy pregnancy and a lovely birth expereince.

i am so sorry, with my first baby, I was just way too early and they too didn't find a heartbeat, so we waited for two more weeks and we found the heartbeat. With my other one, there was no heartbeat, but symptoms, then later I miscarriage. I sympathize with you. Will think of you when you go in for you appointment.
