38 weeks!

I can't believe how fast this has gone!
I keep feeling like this is it, but then it's not. Every night I go to be with regular contractions that are gone by morning.
This baby likes to keep me guessing.

i am also 38 weeks (and a few days). dh notified me today that a contraction every 24 hours really doesn't mean active labor

Tuesday I will be joining the 38 weeks club

I am just hoping the baby isnt born on our 10th anniversary which is the 2nd.

ROFL one contraction every 24 hours! Too funny! I'm 38 weeks 1 day. I totally feel like I have another two weeks to go, which is completely fine with me.

Oh, I'd be fine with another two- I worry that I have another 4 or 5 weeks!
I'm starting to think that this baby is too comfortable, making me uncomfortable.

Me too! I just posted about my contractions. They get very regular -- especially at night. I'm 38w1d.

I'm 38 today too. I took a long hike yesterday and ended up with contractions every 3-4 mins for a few hrs then got nice and crampy. It made me realize I am SO not ready! I hope I have a couple more weeks (no more though! lol).

Me too. You ladies who are all due the same week as me better quit having your babies, you're freaking me out! I have too much stuff to do to have this baby yet!!

So far only the very occassional bout of nausea, the baby hasn't dropped, and only a few "real" feeling contractions but TONS of BH contractions. I think my body wants this baby to drop into place and it's fighting it... not sure what to do about that except trust that it's got to come out sometime and the only way out is DOWN!

38 weeks + change here too!
Defiantely feel changes in my body as it prepares for birth... feels like it could be any day.. My pelvic floor is sore from the pressure and I am having crampy feelings.

Is that what I have been feeling for days now; the pelvic soreness from pressure? Thank you for enlightening me! I don't remember that from the first pg. Definitely having BH last few weeks.

Still nothing. I wish that the contractions would either become productive or go away. They are painful! Speaking of...
I go talk to my midwife on Tuesday, and I might ask her to check me, even though I'm not a huge fan of that. I want to at least know that this has been doing *something*!

You went for a hike yesterday!?!? I have a few days to go before I hit 38 weeks, but there's no way I could do a freakin' hike! Way to go!!

LOL thanks. It was through the woods, up the hills and down the valleys, no trail. Hoping to find some mushrooms but no luck. I'm starting to feel like I'm done being pregnant. I should probably try another hike, maybe it'll work this time.

I went into uber-nesting mode today!! Pumped up the birth pool, made sure it would fit in the place where I want it set up in my bedroom. I filled the condoms with water and rubbing alcohol and put them in the freezer, like that one thread talked about. Got all my supplies organized in a way that dh can even figure it out if he needed to. Made a list of phone numbers for dh in case things happen fast and I'm not able to call the midwife, my mom, etc. I really feel like this is going to happen soon, but watch, I'll go two weeks late like I did with dd!!

no way!! our 10th anniversary is on the 3rd and I'll be 38 wks on thursday. I'm *really* hoping she'll hold off until after our anniversary, but we'll see.

My DD was born on my DH's b-day, my ds#2 was born on my aunts b-day and my ds#3 was born on my cousin's b-day...I'd really love it if she'd *not* be born on our anniversary and have her own day, KWIM?!
