.......my DS3 who has finished high school legally in Calfornia by passing the CHSPE!

Not too shabby for a fifteen year old!

I homeschooled him to age eleven, so I am going to some of the credit, Thank You Very Much!

My other three children passed the CHSPE at ages 16, 17, and 15-1/2 respectively.

I wish someone had told me about the CHSPE when I was in high school. It is a godsend!

Yes, I will definitely take some of the credit for his wonderful performance because if my plans for homeschooling him did not work out, I would definitely receive most of the blame.

He plans to continue to go to high school. He will be taking courses at the community college this summer, courses that interest him. And he will be looking for a job.

He knows he can quit any time he wants and go on to the community college. There is a program there for working students with courses over the internet, courses on the cable television channels and courses on the weekends.

DS2 and I are currently teaching him how to drive. I do not allow my children to get a driver's license until they are eighteen, but I do give them plenty of practice behind a wheel before that time.
