fav learning toys sites

I want to invest in some good toys for DS (he's 3) and elminate some of the plastic and electronic crap in our house. Not that I want to get rid of it all, but seriously, how many flashing light gizmo's does one preschooler need? A friend of mine had this fun puzzle with ABC's that has word/picture flashcards with it and then use use the puzzle letters to spell the word- but it was a gift and she wasn't sure where they got it. I did see the piggyroo.com site someone posted in another thread. What other sites do you like to use to find fun and maybe even slightly useful toys?! Or brands I should be googling or searching for on eBay?

Without a doubt, for us its Nova Natural. Anything they sell is wonderful. We also love the Woody Click wooden farm, Haba toddler blocks ( fit together like Legos but are big and wooden) and Discovery Toys.

Thanks guys! I forgot about Discovery Toys, we own a TON because a friend of mine sells it and I used to buy something everytime she was short meeting her minimum requirement I'll check out the places you guys mentioned!!

But to be honest, some of our best toys were random second hand purchases. You can find wooden puzzles and decent educational preschool materials at the Goodwill or a kids resale shop. That said, there is nothing like new toys through the mail. Good luck in your search.
