Names are set

We've had our girl name figured out since really early on in the pregnancy - Cora Jean.

We've had Henry picked out for a boy since 2003, but the middle name from then went to our daughter (it's my maiden name), so we've been middle-name-less. I've been thinking J, Jay, Arlo, Abraham, etc. My husband wanted John but that's his dad's name and, uh, I have a dad too! Tonight we realized both of our dad's dad's names was Robert (our grandfathers - mine died before I was born and his died when he was really young). Even though I don't love the name Robert, it's fine for a middle name, sounds good with Henry and our last name, and is extra neat because we have Jean for the girl middle name because it's both of our mom's middle names. So, it just seems like it fell into place. Henry Robert.

One more thing that's taken care of!

Oh, I love those names! My great-grandmother was named Cora, and I've always been a fan of that name.

Love it!

If ours was a girl, she would have been Cordelia, nn Cora. Henry was on our short list for boys, too. We decided on Abram, but it was down to Henry, Abram, and Jonas.
