3D movies and young children...

Hi everyone! Dh and I are thinking of taking the kids to see "Meet the Robinsons" and were just wondering how young is too young to see it in 3D. I'm just worried that my 3.5yo won't enjoy it as much and will be bothered by the glasses. Anyone else have little kids and have taken them to see something in 3D?

TIA~!

This doesn't answer your particular question but...

DH took DS (7) to see the movie in 3D. DS had a hard time following the story. It's like a Back to the Future movie for kids and DS had a hard time understanding what was what. I think it's geared for older children... so I wouldn't take your 3.5. DH did not realize that.

Really? That's a bummer. But thanks for your input!

I took my son to see Monster House in 3D and he LOVED it! He was about 3.5.

I'm glad to hear that. I think we'll give it a try as dh has his heart set on watching it in 3D. Hopefully the movie doesn't totally go over her head, though if it does, that's okay, haha. She'll probably still like the characters, etc.

Thanks!
