My water broke last night around 7:45 pm...I have had some doozy contractions, and even for regular periods, but then they die out. We're just 35 weeks, 5 days, but our midwife is letting us birth at home anyways (she's awesome)....our guts are telling us that this little guy is just ready. I have been really nauseous, and unable to keep anything down, but I am off to try some rice I think. I think I might try some nipple stimulation to get things going...that worked like a charm with my second, and I am ready for him to come out! The weirdest thing is that getting up, walking around, even weeding in the garden doesn't get contractions going, but I've had the best luck just laying down and resting. Wish me luck...I think of all the strong women in the world doing this now, then, and who will...such strength!
