Whoops, sorry Lizzy I'm starting this a day late but here goes:

1) How long have you been vegetarian?
2) What are you most looking forward to about having a baby?
3) What do you do for work or if you don't work, what sorts of things do you do to occupy your time?
4) What's your favourite book and your favourite movie?
5) Do you speak any languages other than English?
6) What magazines do you subscribe to, if any, or maybe e-mail lists?

More to come if I think of anything good

Thanks Amy!!! I must have missed this, or maybe I just wasn't looking, lol.

1) How long have you been vegetarian?
Jan. 1, 2004 it was my New Years Resolution (stopped eating meat that Dec before then though. So, about 3 1/2 years now. DH is vegan, and I eat mostly vegan, although this baby has made me crave some Feta a lot!

2) What are you most looking forward to about having a baby?
I guess I am looking more in the long term- I can't wait to show him the world, take him Scuba Diving with us (when he is like 8 or so!), watching DH be a daddy (He'll be an awesome dad).

3) What do you do for work or if you don't work, what sorts of things do you do to occupy your time?
I used to work for a non-profit, then because of lack of funding I moved into the corporate world. I was climbing high on the corporate ladder, then I got pregnant and really sick, so I quit. Now I am planning on being a SAHM until this fall- then I will start taking night classes at the college.

4) What's your favourite book and your favourite movie?
Book: Ishmael is probably my favorite. It is such an easy read, but really makes you think about your role in the world. Movie- Garden State, Almost Famous.. many others. I love movies.

5) Do you speak any languages other than English?
I speak very bad German when I am drunk in Germany. Other than that, no. I would like to teach our child Spanish, at least.

6) What magazines do you subscribe to, if any, or maybe e-mail lists?
Mags: National Geographic & Sport Diver.
Email lists: Organic Consummer Network, Common Dreams, Utah Peace.

Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?

How many children do you want?

How long have you and your dh been married?

What are some of your favorite things that you have acquired for the baby so far?

Do you have a mantra in mind for labor?

Where have you been scuba diving? (I used to be an assistant scuba diving instructor, I LOVE diving, too!)

I grew up all over the U.S. Born in New Orleans, lived in TX, UT, NV, ID. I live in Salt Lake City, UT now. I love it here! But, DH and I wouldn't mind moving to the Pacific NW.

How many children do you want?
I want 2, a boy and a girl. DH is still a little iffy about just having this ONE! So, we'll see..

How long have you and your dh been married?
Almost a year. We got married May 28th last year.

What are some of your favorite things that you have acquired for the baby so far?
The size 6 month Hawaiian t-shirt we bought him from our trip to Kauai in Jan. I think that is my most favorite thing for him. Everything else is pretty normal stuff.

Do you have a mantra in mind for labor?
No, do you have any suggestions?

Where have you been scuba diving?
DH is a Divemaster, and MADE me get certified for our honeymoon . So, the only place I've been diving is Jamaica. I got pregnant soon after our honeymoon, so I couldn't dive when we went to Hawaii. :

What do you like about Kucinich?

What do you like about SLC?

Are you a musician?

Of course not, you don't think that you're going to get off that easy do you?

What has been your favorite thing about being pregnant?

Least favorite?

What are you most afraid of when becoming a new mom?

What do you think the best part of being a new mom will be?

What made you decide that AP would be the best way to parent your kids, or are you even sure?!

What do you like about Kucinich?
He's the only vegan running for president! Also, I agree with most of his opinions of political issues. I voted for him last election too

What do you like about SLC?
The summer time! When it starts to warm up there is a festival here every weekend, or 2 or 3. It has a great artist & activist communtiy that I've been unable to connect with other places I've lived. It's surrounded by beautiful Mountains, and I've felt *home* here more than anywhere else.

Are you a musician?
Haha, no. But my DH is, and I envision my unborn child as one!

What has been your favorite thing about being pregnant?
Growing a life in my belly

Least favorite?
Heartburn and backaches

What are you most afraid of when becoming a new mom?
Losing personal freedom

What do you think the best part of being a new mom will be?
The love

It's always been a no-brainer for me. As soon as I found out I was preg, we bought a king size bed for co-sleeping. I've always been pro-exclusive breast feeding, anti-circing and always hoped to home-school, or community-schooling... and whatever else makes me AP...

How old are you?

Are you planning on using cloth dipes? If so, what have you got so far?

How did you find MDC?

What are some of your favorite bands/musicians?

Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know.
